In its fourth year as a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Ayala Corporation, KP Motors Corporation announced that it has outpaced the growth of the automotive industry as a whole with a 34 percent sales increase in 2022 .

Moreover, Kia Philippines received recognition from Kia Asia-Pacific as the country with the highest growth rate in the Asia Pacific region. They are also the Number 1 independent distributor in retail sales in this part of the world as well. This string of successes would not have been possible without Kia’s dealer partners. From 30 dealers in 2018, Kia Philippines grew to 42 dealers in 2022, and this nationwide network expansion continues. Among the top performing dealers were: Gateway Motors, Wheels, Inc., Iconic Dealerships, Inc., Traders of the Laus Group, and Grand Canyon Motors. New partners Autohub Grup, Wheeltek, and Prime Legacy were also welcomed to the Kia family.

The Kia Philippines story as an Ayala company began in January 2019 when the brand was relaunched with the Soluto as the very first all-new model introduced. Shortly after this, the Stinger and the Forte were highlighted at the Manila International Auto Show that year. In November of the same year, the Seltos was introduced.
