those in the know ... scotts was for sale over 6 months ago - as struggling back then. So wasn't any real supprise. I can think of 2 transport companies that have the power/money/position to buy out scotts ... will see what happens in coming months.

So I thought the price increases were due to freight increases. Something not quite right here.

Coles and Aldi making record increases in Profit by even screwing the transport that brings their goods in for sale. If they raise prices because of this there should be and investigation into their business practice and appropriate legislation put into place.

Very bad to see a company of this size go down. They should have raised prices long ago & tightened the purse strings. Better off losing work & down sizing rather than losing money.
