A three-storey house in Greater Manchester has gone on the market for just £60,000, far cheaper than average homes in the area - but the property does have a downside

A three-storey home which has just gone on the marketed with a guide price of £60,000 may tempt some house-buyers, but it does have a catch.

At £60,000, the property has a guide price that is considerably lower than a standard terraced house in the area, and goes up for auction on March 22, reports the Manchester Evening News. However then low price means the buyer needs to be prepared to settle for a small living area. The property is made up of just a one-up, one-down layout - and doesn't even have a proper bedroom.Top news stories today However, the ground floor of the home is 15 square metres and consists of a kitchen area, fitted with a range of wall and base units with space for a small dining table, a bathroom with a walk in shower, and doors from the kitchen leading out into a small communal outdoor area.

The bedroom is less than 6 square metres and fits just a bed, a bedside table and overhead drawers in the website pictures.
