This turn towards self-sufficiency has sparked a prioritization of amateur-friendly products to go alongside a homegrown approach. “Inclusivity continues to gain momentum and will become a non-negotiable for consumers,” the report reads. In fact, according to the report, almost half of U.S. consumers would like to try gentle, more holistic haircare products to treat issues like scalp irritation, hair loss, at 48 percent.Those owning their haircare process are also increasingly turning to supplements to achieve this gentle nurturing of their locks – a method many Gen Z and millennial consumers have been turning to for ultimate skincare health – with 65 percent of U.S. consumers responding favorably to trying out the oral method.
