This is a great example of integrating sustainability in policymaking. I hope the plastic manufacturing industries and mass workforces will be offered support to avoid the negative impact following massive layoffs

Scientist can't develop a bio-degrade bag? I read once of paper six pack holders. On the Moon, going to Mars, super colliders, robotic surgery, silk stockings, artificial heart and limbs and the scientific community can't make a disposable bio-degradable BAG?

It seems that the education programs are failing or insufficient. We have to keep reminding persons about the impact on the environment especially marine life.

First, this is a good thing. Second, we will pay for this. Third, someone will convince us that it’s both a good thing and valuable.

just because we can't be trusted to recycle ... then all electronics should be banned too 😡

They will take those products they have manufactured already and dump them on some poor country somewhere
