Rep. Greg Steube (R-FL) says he expects President Joe Biden to be charged with treason over alleged involvement in his son Hunter Biden's foreign business deals if a Republican president is elected in 2024.

"As you see the evidence and you see the countries that were targeted by the Biden crime syndicate for enrichment — Russia, China, Middle Eastern countries that hate us, a lot of countries that don't like America and don't like the way we do business here ... it seems as though they are strip mining this nation and selling us off for parts to some of our biggest enemies," Benny Johnson, host of The Benny Show said on Monday.Johnson then asked,"It does seem treasonous.

“This is treasonous activity from the highest level of office in our country.” pic.twitter.com/m9XYykHeAXSteube added,"I hope that if a Republican, God willing, wins the presidency in 2024 after [Biden] is out, whether it is through impeachment or getting beat at the ballot box, that they will move forward with charges like that."

Steube, a member of the House Select Subcommittee on the Weaponization of the Federal Government, hopes having control of the Department of Justice and FBI in"a new administration" will"get rid of jokers, like Jake Sullivan and the like."CLICK HERE TO READ MORE FROM THE WASHINGTON EXAMINER The congressman went on to rip the United States for giving"hundreds of millions" in tax dollars to Ukraine after the Biden family personally received millions from business deals in Ukraine.

"You don't think there's something on the back end that's coming back for them at some point? So, absolutely, this is treasonous activity from the highest level in our country," Steube said.
