Vantage campuses will deliver a total of 287MW of IT capacity LVNS aims to generate US$22.98 mil through its development programmes US-based hyperscale data centre provider, Vantage Data Centers, plans to invest an additional US$3 billion (RM13.32 billion) to build a second data centre campus in Cyberjaya. At the same time Leave a Nest Malaysia (LVNS), a subsidiary of a Japan-based science venture company, signed an MoU with Cyberview. Both signing ceremonies were witnessed by Fahmi Fadzil, Minister of Communications and Digital.

LVNS aims to generate US$22.98 mil through its development programmes

Vantage is in its final stages of acquiring 35 acres to develop a data centre mega campus, named KUL2. The facility will consist of 10 data centres with 256MW of IT capacity across 2.75 million square feet once fully developed. “The agreement with Vantage marks an important milestone for Cyberjaya and sets the stage for the city as an ideal location for hyperscale data centre providers. Currently, 90 per cent of colocation providers in Malaysia are based in Cyberjaya, leveraging our world-class infrastructure with dark fibre connectivity,” said Mohd Hafiz Ibrahim, Acting Managing Director of Cyberview.

“This partnership will not only benefit the startup community but will also contribute to the growth and development of the entire technology and innovation ecosystem,” added Mohd Hafiz.
