Of the FTSE 100 constituents, diversified business services company Rentokil Initial PLC RTO, -18.64% saw the largest decline Thursday, as shares tumbled 18.64%

Investment Advisors companies Hargreaves Lansdown PLC HL, -6.05% and abrdn PLC ABDN, -4.03% rounded out the top five largest decreases as their stocks fell 6.05% and 4.03%, respectively. Shares of non-life insurance firm Admiral Group PLC ADM, +2.39% and securities company London Stock Exchange Group PLC LSEG, +1.88% rallied 2.39% and 1.88%, respectively.

The pound was up 0.03% against dollar GBPUSD, +0.30% at $1.2144 and was down 0.30% against the euro GBPEUR, -0.30% at €1.1487.
