The Lunch Bag, a Nenagh headquartered manufacturer and distributor of school meals, said it will produce 100,000 meals a day following the expansion

The Lunch Bag, a Tipperary-based food company that manufactures school meals, is to add 240 full time jobs as part of a €7.5 million expansion of its Nenagh production facility.

On Tuesday, the company said the investment will allow it to triple the size of its business and deliver up to 100,000 meals a day to schools all over the country. The Lunch Bag currently employs 200 people and delivers 35,000 school meals a day.
