Two teens are accused of committing a series of burglaries at convenience stores and small businesses in York County, and investigators are trying to identify a third suspect.Police said they linked the incidents to Jelani Gassama and Joseph Lugo-Nazario, both 19, using surveillance video and other evidence.The pair would steal a vehicle in York and burglarize multiple businesses in one night, according to police. This happened multiple times a week from August to November.
Police said the two caused tens of thousands in damage and stole merchandise and cash.Gassama was arrested in October on unrelated charges, police said, but the vehicle thefts and burglaries continued.Lugo-Nazario and a third unknown person were seen on video committing similar crimes after Gassama's arrest, police said.Lugo-Nazario was taken into custody on Wednesday.He's charged with 31 counts of burglary and five counts of theft for stealing vehicles.
