Lesufi addressed the province's Provincial Executive Committee (PEC) Lekgotla today.

Gauteng ANC Chairperson Panyaza Lesufi says that if the ruling party loses the elections, that is the end of the national democratic revolution.Despite the previous general elections result which saw the ANC in Gauteng barely clinch the province with just over 50% of the vote, Lesufi still believes they will win the support of the province in the 2024 polls.

“And we are entering a crucial stage where we will defend the African National Congress in our province and our message is clear, we want to win Gauteng without any form of coalition, without any form of factional partners, we will win Gauteng alone and we will govern this province alone.
