Well, there’s only one place you’re going to want to travel to soon, and that’s to the Yomiuri Land amusement park in Japan. The Pokémon Company took to their website to announce the creation of PokéPark KANTO, a new entertainment venture to be developed in the existing Yomiuri Land amusement park. “Yomiuri Land is located in the Tama Hills in Japan’s Kanto region, a place where one can still enjoy the rich delights of nature. And the very first Pokémon video games, 1996’s Pokémon Red and Pokémon Green, were set in a fictional region named the Kanto region.”

“As we embark on this new business venture, we chose the name PokéPark KANTO as a nod to both the 1st region in the Pokémon world and the site of this new park,” they shared.Dedicating the Pokémon themed playground to diehard fans all over the world, they shared their excitement over what’s to come.
