Pork prices have gone up to as high as P420 as the effects of the African swine fever continue to pose challenges to the country's hog industry. Based on the monitoring of the Department of Agriculture , prices of pork kasim range from P295 to P370 per kilo while prices of liempo range from P340 to P420. Samahang Industriya ng Agrikultura chairman Rosendo So said farmgate price of pork increased to P205 from P198 the previous week. However, retail prices should not reach P420.
