Zahid Hamidi: Majority of Companies with Halal Certifications in Malaysia Owned By Non-Bumiputera

Deputy Prime Minister Dato’ Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi revealed a rather interesting fact regarding our country’s Halal industry in the Dewan Rakyat yesterday , specifically regarding companies that obtained the Halal certification from the Malaysian Islamic Development Department

Accordingly, Zahid asserted that to improve the Halal industry in our country, among the matters looked at is the structure of the industry itself, including the Halal certification process, the management of Halal talents, the national Halal policy, the Halal development plan and the Halal marketing plan.Dato’ seri dr.
