The job description stated Cynet Systems was on the hunt for someone who was “preferably caucasian” with “good technical background”, eight to 10 years of experience and a “relationship individual” who could “get more opportunities” and “build the account”. Cynet eventually responded to the outcry on Sunday, tweeting an apology over the incident and confirming those responsible had been fired.

Never any outrage when female only ad for a job, scholarship, etc is offered. And note that this is often after the ad gets the OK tick from our Human Rights Commission GenderEqualityWhenItSuits

I have seen many job adverts that say Asian preferred, especially by Chinese companies and businesses. Is that ok?

When it's caucasions first - hardly ever - it's RAAAACIIIST! But when it's anyone but caucasions - 99% - it's ok. The people that can carry these 2 positions in their head at once are really really ... special.

Big deal, who cares. They pay the bills, they can hire who they want. In reality we should hire on merit, not female/male/color/race.
