If you've been dying in this summer heat and dreaming of a pool, then this Toronto home at 49 Allenby Ave. might just be your dream come true.

This charming 1.5-storey home has been lovingly owned by the same family since 1957. Yes, that is a long time. And while it is expectedly somewhat dated, its bright and inviting atmosphere plus the fact that it has a backyard pool make it easy to see why they stayed for so long! The home is small, with only two bedrooms and two bathrooms, and could certainly use some modern updates. But it has a good layout and features like hardwood floors on the main floor. The dining room.

And there's a separate dining room with floor-to-ceiling mirrors, which seems weird but does make the space seem bigger.Upstairs are the two bedrooms with laminate flooring. They're not massive, but they have closets and enough space for a queen-size bed.The bathroom is painfully stuck in the 90's with the beige tiles but does have a newer accessible tub.
