Caragh was diagnosed with autoimmune condition lupus three years ago and has now developed a company that produces food products to better promote an "anti-inflammatory lifestyle".
"My life was flipped upside down when I was told that I had an autoimmune condition back in 2021,” Caragh shared on the Superkeen website. "At 25 years old, I had to turn down my dream teaching position due to extreme joint pain, alopecia, and painful blisters that appeared all over my face and body. I had been told that I'd have to wear long sleeve tops and avoid going out in the sun and that I would have to spend the rest of my life on immunosuppressants and potentially chemotherapy.
"And after just two months of changing my diet and lifestyle, I started to heal. It is now three years on I am so grateful for where I am today! My health journey has led me to create Superkeen.
