Government to deal with electricity prices increase to protect the poor.

He says the seventh administration in the Government of National Unity will be tested among other things by being able to manage the challenge of electricity in the country. Ramokgopa says, “Facing our energy infrastructure in ensuring reliable power will require significant financial resources. One of the most critical challenges we faced is balancing the needs to stabilised our energy sector with the responsibility to protect citizens from economic hardship particularly the poor and marginalised communities.
