Deputy President Paul Mashatile said on Monday that government is committed to creating more trade and investment opportunities with UK investors.

‘We are open for business’: Paul Mashatile goes fishing for UK investors, talks up South Africa’s GNUOn Monday, Deputy President Paul Mashatile said that the government is committed to building an inclusive economy in South Africa.

Some of the other main issues Mashatile touched on that is a priority for the GNU include addressing poverty and the high cost of living in SA and strengthening bilateral partnerships in several sectors with the UK. “Our people voted for us to collaborate to create better employment opportunities and equal economic growth in all facets of society. The GNU is the best tactical option for us to move the country ahead, putting our differences aside for the benefit of our great nation,” he added.Mashatile also wanted to make it very clear and reassure those who have business interests in SA that the GNU is working together to create a conducive environment for businesses to strive.
