NET inflows of foreign direct investments grew 5.5 percent to $820 million in July 2024 from $778 million net inflows in the same month last year, the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas said Thursday.- Advertisement -

Nonresidents’ reinvestment of earnings and their net investments in equity capital increased by 12.8 percent to $135 million from $120 million and 16.8 percent to $76 million from $65 million, respectively. “These investments were channeled mainly to the manufacturing and real estate industries,” the BSP said.
