Join the City on Wednesday, Nov. 20 for a come-and-go discussion on budget priorities

As Sault Ste. Marie prepares for the 2025 municipal budget, residents and business owners are encouraged to get involved in the budget process by sharing feedback and setting priorities. From November 18 to November 29, the City will provide information on how the budget process works, where tax dollars are allocated, and the value these funds bring to the community. The insights gathered will help shape budget deliberations scheduled for December 9 and 10, 2024.

“Community input is essential in shaping a budget that reflects the needs and aspirations of our residents,” said Mayor Matthew Shoemaker. “I invite everyone to participate in the budgetary process. City Council and staff look forward to discussing our goals and gathering your feedback over the coming weeks.

Feedback from this engagement will help shape the 2025 municipal budget. Visit www.saultstemarie.ca/budget2025 to participate and help shape the future of Sault Ste. Marie.
