Anglicare Australia has reported a worsening situation for unemployed Australians seeking entry-level jobs. The organization's latest snapshot shows 33 people out of work for every entry-level job, up from 26 last year and 15 in 2022. The study highlights the growing difficulty for those with barriers to employment, such as lack of qualifications or living in remote areas.

The job market in Australia is becoming increasingly challenging for unemployed individuals seeking entry-level positions, with Anglicare Australia reporting a significant increase in unemployment-to-job ratio. The latest annual Jobs Availability Snapshot from the organization found 33 unemployed people for every entry-level job, up from 26 last year and 15 in 2022.

This trend is particularly concerning for those with additional barriers to employment, such as lack of tertiary qualifications, age, or living in remote areas
