Thai security forces arrest three men believed to have been involved in a motorcycle bomb attack at Bo Thong Market in Nong Chik, Pattani in which two people were killed and 22 others injured.

Military 4th Division spokesman Colonel Pramote Prom-in said with intelligence and information from the public as well as footage from the closed-circuit television , the three men, aged between 23 and 27 years, were arrested in Pattani yesterday. “As result of the interrogation, the security forces arrested two other suspects, aged 23 and 27, in Pattani. The 23-year-old suspect was believed to have detonated the bomb while the 27-year-old man was seen hanging around at the scene.

Pramote said the three suspects were now detained at Ingkayuthaborihan Camp, Nong Chik, located about 500 metres from the scene to facilitate investigations.
