PARIS - France plans to scrap 1 billion euros of tax breaks for companies to help fund a pledged 5-billion-euro reduction in personal income taxes, Budget Minister Gerald Darmanin said on Sunday. The government will finance the remaining 4 billion euros through lower spending, Darmanin said during an interview for the Grand Jury show with reporters from LCI television, RTL radio and Le Figaro newspaper. In his response to months of anti-government protests, French President Emmanuel Macron said in late April he would cut income tax by a further 5 billion euros.

The planned reduction came on top of a 10 billion-euro package of concessions to protesters in December aimed at boosting the income of the poorest workers and pensioners.

If elected, I plan on raising the minimum wage to $17 an hour. These Tex perks for business have been subsidized through low wages. Requiring deficit spending they put the taxpayer on the hook

As always - they think companies are just cash cows.

So only the average people who are paid hourly wages get to pay taxes for wars and healthcare? Nice to see how sociopathic economics works in action. Shit, I read that about ancient Rome...

France will continue to make Switzerland great (again).

France is a poor country, it definitely does not have. 1 billion dollars probably only 1000$

Come to the US America is open for business

Way to go France. Scrap tax breaks for companies. French companies: welcome to USA.

Ontario should cancel tax breaks for companies too. They are too big, too greedy and too self centred.

Too bad the US is too scared to do that under Trumplican reign. What did Trump circus do, once again & disaster for working stiffs & gold on the shelf for big business. Working classes essential in boosting local economies, but GOP always boosting big business, always.

And people wonder why many companies choose other countries ?

That commotion you hear is French companies moving out of France

Why I expect that’ll boost their GDP...

And there goes France, down the spiralling hole of socialism. I would like to introduce France, to little country called Greece. You will both soon become kindred spirits, while the ruling capitalists determine your future destinies.

🇫🇷 Taking the lead on corporate welfare bums.

More companies moving to the 🇺🇸 soon?

Way to be France,...🙂
