Don’t use pension deductions to finance budget deficit, says Oshiomhole Nigerians

National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, Mr Adams Oshiomhole, said on Wednesday that the Federal Government and State Governments should not use pension deductions from workers’ earnings to finance their respective budget deficits.

Oshiomhole gave the advice while speaking at the opening of the Presidential Policy Retreat in Abuja.President Muhammadu Buhari had declared the retreat open at the Council Chamber of the State House. The APC chairman also said in view of the security situation in the country, its security architecture should be reviewed.

Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo, the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Boss Mustapha, and state governors are attending the retreat.
