Business owners whose shops were looted in Malvern east of Johannesburg this morning are counting their losses.
An estimated 50 shops have been looted and more than 50 vehicles burnt after a group of people went on a rampage.On Sunday morning, several other shops were looted in nearby Jeppestown.Gauteng Police spokesperson Mavela Masondo says:”We can confirm that several shops have been burnt and other looted. The fire-fighters are here.”
