As Elizabeth Warren calls for breaking up the tech companies, their employees are pouring money into the candidates presidential campaign

Employees of technology giants are pouring money into Elizabeth Warren’s presidential campaign for president, as Warren calls for breaking up the companies that sign their paychecks.

This week, Warren took another step to separate herself from Silicon Valley’s elite: She promised to not take any contributions over $200 from “executives at big tech companies, big banks, private equity firms, or hedge funds,” and her campaign said it would return donations from people who fit that mold.

Hell yeah, because they know that breaking up this oligopoly leads to more jobs, better pay, more competition, more profit.

This is genuinely not even news. Of all the stories, this is the big reach Politico went for?

You don't bite the hand that feeds you. Perhaps just a public bite with a private kiss later on

Employees of tech companies love Freeeee Moneeeeyyyyy just as much as employees of non-tech companies.

2024 will be a great year for the Transformation of politics religion and the sciences

FDR took money from Tammany then went after them.

Gosh these kids are dreamers...God love 'em but I never see this happening. We are a country built on corporate greed.

Warren brought in $248K from employees from Amazon, Apple, Facebook and Google from the start of July through the end of September. She raised $24.6 million overall in the third quarter of 2019, trailing only Bernie Sanders in the Democratic field

Warren would harm America seriously!

Zuckerborg is afraid of a Warren presidency. That’s all you really need to know. A lot of tech employees (even some execs) would like to see these companies broken up.

😂😂 I love this. They recognize the brutal and oppressive power of their employers and destructive influence of monopoly

Vally going to be flood with tears on 2020 Nov

When we clearly see Zuckerberg in bed with the Kremlin and Trump then these workers are being patriots when donating to a candidate who favors fair play and an end to corruption.

Here's my question... Isn't it money laundering when we send American taxpayer money to countries to help their citizens, only to have the foreign politicians use that money to fill American Politicians campaigns? What would you do to curb this circle of corruption?

'As Elizabeth Warren calls for breaking up the tech companies' --------------------------- Ok. But Couldn't She Better Do That in her PRESENT Position as a Senator? It was my understanding, BEFORE Trump, the Senate PASSED LAWS and the President CARRIED OUT Those Laws.

Employees aren't the same as corporate donations.🙄

This article is disingenuous. Receiving contributions from employees of tech companies is NOT the same as 'raking in tech money.'

Because, surprise, working for these companies kinda sucks.
