tightening monetary policy. The Dow Jones Industrial Average DJIA, -0.20% fell 220 points, or 0.7%, while the S&P 500 SPX, -0.06% fell 0.5% and the Nasdaq Composite COMP, +0.45% edged down 0.2%.
