Texas-based Lincoln Ventures and national architect Shepley Bulfinch are working together to develop one of Roosevelt Row's newest residential towers called Moontower PHX.
"The owners wanted to play up on that art influence," said Omar Bailey, an associate at Shepley Bulfinch."They like to bring the energy of the surrounding area into the property. For example, not have a lobby where it's just you're waiting for someone that lives in the building or a five-minute lobby. [Lincoln] always has a component such as a cafe or restaurant attached so that way the local public kind of bleeds into the lobby space.
"They were kind of missing that stitched-together pedestrian experience and the really vibrant nightlife and day life, all this stuff that happens at the ground floor when these buildings interact with the sidewalk and the street" she said."It's been really great to be part of that and help tell the story of the popularity of downtown."
