Companies call for streamlined foreign labour recruitment process

Many industries in the country are labour-intensive and dependent on migrant workers, says the Malaysian Consortium of Mid-Tier Companies. – The Malaysian Insight file pic, December 25, 2022.

MCMTC president Callum Chen said many industries in Malaysia are labour-intensive and dependent on migrant workers. In February, Moha handed over the management of foreign workers, including the one-channel system to MOHR.
