BB&T did not protect customer account well and was not accountable to loyal customer. I am wondering how this merger of equals with BB&T will gain trust, respect, and loyal support.

SunTrust, BB&T to Combine in All-Stock MergerSunTrust Banks and BB&T agreed to combine in a merger of equals valued at about $66 billion. The companies said the all-stock deal would create the sixth-largest U.S. bank in terms of assets and deposits. Huge growth!! I’m pretty sure the combined banks are larger than $66B Wow!!! Having worked in mortgage capital markets at both banks, I can say this is HUGE banking news. Both have unique cultures though. It will be interesting to see this evolve.
