As previously revealed by the Business Post, Ailmount Investments is currently suing Bank of Ireland over payments the former shareholders say they are owed as part of the bank’s €553 million acquisition of the stockbroker.

Pat Cooney, the head of wealth management at Davy and one of the most senior executives in the firm, has resigned from the board of a company that is currently suing the stockbroker’s owner, Bank of Ireland.
