The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority on Thursday welcomed the appointment of Maria Carolina Salgado as the new Assistant General Manager for Finance and Administration.
For her part, Salgado expressed her gratitude to President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. for the opportunity to serve under his administration. Prior to this appointment, Salgado served as Director III of Finance Service and Caretaker/Custodian, Office of the Assistant General Manager for Finance and Administration. She directly supervised the finance management, audit of the performance and expenditures of various departments, and the preparation of the yearly budget of the MMDA. She also coordinates with other government agencies and ensures the faithful compliance of the Authority to the Government Accounting and Auditing Standards.
