Rebecca raises $2.7m after starting business with a $40 template

Rebecca Wilson started her website Starts at 60 late one night using a $40 template.

Travel at 60 is packaging, marketing and online selling holiday packages and cruise deals specifically curated for "digital savvy" over-60s.The fundraising round attracted investment from the Queensland Business Development Fund, Hollard Insurance, the QUT Bluebox and private investors, as well as follow on investment from existing shareholder Seven West Media.

Wilson is a former investment banker who ran her own marketing business for 10 years before launching Starts at 60. Wilson says Starts at 60 began with media and then moved into lead generation with travel the next logical step.
