Electoral Commission of South AfricaWith nearly 78% of the national vote counted, the African National Congress is in the lead with 57%, followed by the Democratic Alliance with nearly 22% and then the Economic Freedom Fighters with just over 10%.

“Our hope is that we will have all the results through by the end of today. We are seeming on track for tomorrow and so things are moving steadily as we’ve all indicated. We’re not trying to unduly rush we are making sure that they are checked very carefully before,” says Love.
