Concern is rising over the future of Queensland’s tourism industry as Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk says borders may not reopen until September due to coronavirus hotspots in NSW and Victoria.
Australia receives about $80 billion from the tourism industry each year, with Qld contributing about $1.2 billion last winter alone.
