SEREMBAN: A High Court here today fined two directors and a shareholder RM5,000 each, in default 15 days of imprisonment for interfering with the due administration of justice as they disposed of assets belonging to their company in the midst of a winding-up petition.

All three defendants, who were represented by Cindy Chow, Jolene Thaminder Singh and Wong Guo Bin, paid the fine.Tan was the managing director of Ho Shen Lee Sdn Bhd and held a 51% share of the company while Wong held 3%. Khoo held no shares. The three applied for an order from Judge Abu Bakar Jais to dispose of some of the company’s assets but were refused as the application was not bona fide.
