SEREMBAN: The state's hotel and homestay operators, as well as tourists guides, will receive a special one-off aid from the state government to help them cushion the effects of Covid-19, says Datuk Seri Aminuddin Harun.

The Mentri Besar said all tourism-related associations will also benefit as they too have been badly affected by the pandemic.

“We are aware that those associated with the tourism industry have been facing cash flow problems, and we hope this assistance from the state government will be of some help,” he told reporters after chairing the state exco meeting.These include the state chapters of the Malaysia Association of Hotel, Malaysia Budget & Business Hotel, Malaysia Association of Tours & Travel Agents, and Bumiputra Travel & Tour Agents Association of Malaysia.
