In response, a team comprising the Knysna Crime Prevention unit, Knysna detectives, the Tsitsikamma K9 unit and a local security company was immediately assembled to investigate the crime. Following further leads, the investigation team extended its search to Worcester, where they apprehended two additional suspects on 14 June. Another suspect linked to the robbery was subsequently arrested in Knysna on 15 June.
