Kota Kinabalu: The majority of stores, both large and small, has opted to maintain the original pricing of imported white rice until all of their old stocks of imported white rice has been depleted.

“We’re still selling our old stocks at the old price, but the price of many of our new stock of imported white rice has been adjusted to the new retail price,” Sally, who owns a retail shop in Inanam, said Tuesday.“Our new stock arrived just yesterday,” she said. Another retailer said that they will keep the old price for their old goods.
