The trucking and logistics company's third-quarter revenue fell 18% from a year ago. Earnings missed forecasts.

J.B. Hunt Transport Services shares were tumbling after its quarterly earnings fell short of expectations, but analysts argued patience is key as they stuck with the trucking and logistics company.

Expectations about when the current so-called recession in freight will end, the Evercore analysts said, as they lowered their forecasts for earnings and reduced their target for the stock price to $200 from $205.
