Admittedly, this is not the kind of thing you want to see on a Monday morning, so consider yourself warned. A tech entrepreneur died in a “freak accident” during a company event, and the disastrous incident was caught on camera. News.au reported that Sanjay Shah, CEO of US-based company Vistex, was seated in an iron cage which snapped apart, sending the tech boss plunging to his death.

The descending enclosure, guided by a mobile apparatus, featured iron wires and grilles. “Suddenly, one of the two wires attached to the cage snapped. Both plunged more than 15 feet and landed on the concrete dais. This caused multiple injuries,” cops said.
