Texas AG Ken Paxton has opened an investigation into a key Boeing supplier as the company continues to face scrutiny stemming from the door panel blowout.

Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton has opened an investigation into a key Boeing supplier as the company continues to face scrutiny stemming from thethat the investigation focuses on Spirit AeroSystems Holdings, Inc., after "reoccurring issues with certain airplane parts provided to Boeing.

Paxton will be looking into the company's "organization, conduct, and management" and has instructed Spirit AeroSystems to provide documents related to manufacturing defects. The attorney general also said the company was asked to release documents related to diversity, equity and inclusion commitments, and whether these commitments are "unlawful or are compromising" to the manufacturing process.
