Cops are hunting a knife attacker after a man suffered life-changing injuries in a stabbing near Longsight Market. Emergency services raced out to the scene, on Dickenson Road, at 10.30pm on Monday night .
A cordon has been in place near Longsight Market throughout the night and this morning. The Manchester Evening News understands forensics investigators have been at the scene this morning, while a tent has been seen in place. Images from Monday night show several police cars in attendance and a large area taped off. Eyewitnesses reported seeing more than 10 police cars in attendance, blood splatters and 'medical debris' on the ground.
