The Wiretap: This $2.5 Billion Cyber Intel Company Defends America, Israel And Ukraine. It’s About To Be Swallowed By Mastercard., it’s been providing defensive cyber services to myriad agencies, helping them, Ahlberg tells an audience of cybersecurity practitioners at his company’s Predict conference in London on Tuesday. Israel's civilian cyber defense agency is also a user of Recorded Future’s tools.

"I have personally leaned in and made points that, yes, I'm pro-Israel," Ahlberg says."It doesn't mean that the company has to be. That doesn't mean that every individual has to be... that's a very complex conflict.," he adds. Netanyahu remains a divisive figure in Israel.

"Analytically, obviously, there could be incredible opportunities to bring together cyber and financial data in many ways," Ahlberg says.. In 2019, he sold a majority stake in Recorded Future to private equity outfit Insight Partners. The deal with Mastercard will be his second full exit, having sold his first company, business intelligence company Spotfire to Tibco for $190 million in 2007.
