Google has recently invested a record-breaking amount in renewable energy deals in the United States, Chile, and Europe. They have announced a total of 18 new deals, which is by far their largest investment in renewable energy deals.

This is not the end of Google’s dedication to renewable energy movements. They are also planning to purchase around 720 megawatts in the US, more specifically from solar farms located in North Carolina, South Carolina, and Texas. While they are yet to clarify their plans for Europe, we found that Google is going to buy additional 125 megawatts in Chile in order to power their data center at the same location.
