London Food companies trying to reduce their consumption of plastic have a big problem — it's hard to find suitable recycled material. Nestlé says it's willing to spend more than $2 billion to try and fix that.
The world's biggest food company said in a statement Thursday that it would cut costs in other parts of its business to free up more than 1.5 billion Swiss francs to buy 2 million metric tons of recycled plastic between now and 2025.
Flushing money. Shareholders take note.
Nestlé is equivalent to the companies that were financing and doing business with The third Reich. Evil company.
bullshit Every dime of that will come back on the shoulders of the consumer. Screwing us over knee jerk BS.
It would be better if Nestle would stop effectively stealing water, putting it in plastic bottles and selling it at ridiculous prices.
This is the kind of anti-pollution effort I can get behind. We just want clean air, clean water, clean land. No need to pretend it's about 'climate change'.
A global problem
