Mr Anello claims he did not know the window was open when he lifted his granddaughter up to it, but the company says surveillance video disputes thatThe cruise line lays the blame for the child's fatal fall on her 51-year-old grandfather, Salvatore Anello. Royal Caribbean Cruises' January 8 filing in US District Court in Miami comes in response to a lawsuit the parents of Chloe Wiegand filed in December,It said surveillance video on the ship shows Mr Anello leaning out of the open window for about eight seconds just moments before he lifted his granddaughter, who would have turned two in December, up to the window, from which she fell to the dock far below.

Never underestimate the intelligence of your fellow human beings.

There is nothing ‘criminal ‘ about such a tragedy . Whether he saw the window open or not & held her up to it , it is jusf a normal human action . Do we criminalise parents who own a pool when theirs or others child drown ? Or if have a car accident just bring human?
