Financial analyst Dr Wilbert Chagwiza, said that while property investment may be profitable, those interested need to “start with low-cost properties”. The degradation of the country’s economic status to negative in the 2019 financial year, high unemployment rates, load shedding and the embattlement of state-owned entities such as the South African Airways and Eskom have put a dent in the pockets of many South Africans, leaving them uncertain about their financial future.
