Malacca tourism industry unfazed by water rationing

The Malacca tourism industry has not been drastically affected by water rationing imposed by the state government as most have contingency plans in place. – The Malaysian Insight file pic, February 18, 2020.

TOURISM industry players in Malacca say they are not adversely affected by the phase two of water rationing which began on February 10 as they have contingency plans to deal with the situation. Malacca Tourism Association president Madelina Kuah said almost all tourism-related premises, especially hotels, have large-capacity water tanks which can meet the demands of tourists.
